Answer 20 questions including, your academic major, experience with people with disabilities, hobbies, career goals, and preferences for the family you will be assigned.

Step 2: Complete Free Respite Care Training.

Complete the ARCH National Respite Care Training (online) and CPR and First Aid training.

Step 3: Connect with a Local Family.

Matches are based on both student and family preferences. Students will be assigned in pairs, if requested, to a family after the add/drop period.

Step 4: Begin Respite Care Visits.

Respite care visits need to begin the third week of the semester. Each respite visit needs to be for 3 hours per week (e.g., after school, evenings, weekends).
